Personal Running Hub

RunPub connects planning, the run itself, factual records, review and learning, and optional publishing in one local-first running system. Content follows the completed running experience; it does not define it.

Current foundation

HealthKit completed-run ingestion now feeds Mac-canonical Running Data, with the Airtable one-way mirror completed as a derived view. The same macOS foundation includes durable local storage, local video inspection and frame selection, logo-thumbnail composition, RunMap Course M1 / M2 with interactive preview and PNG export, and retained P3a Desktop OAuth authorization capability.

Running Data

Completed runs arrive from HealthKit as factual workout data, including local GPS route evidence. The Mac store remains the canonical product record; Airtable is a one-way mirror, not a second authority.

Training

Goals, planned workouts, review, and future training guidance belong here. Training product state is a direction beyond the current foundation, and RunPub Pacer is planned rather than implemented.

Routes

Routes will give personal routes a durable identity, library, and route-specific experience. That bounded context is future direction and is distinct from RunMap, which currently renders a saved run’s factual GPS route.

Publishing

Publishing prepares assets from a finished running experience. Run Logo turns an exact local-video frame into a title-logo thumbnail; RunMap turns Running Data into a course graphic. It is an assistant for asset preparation, not a video editor or a replacement for YouTube Studio, and direct upload automation is not the active roadmap.
